Recruiting The Justice League in a New Movie Trailer

If there's one thing I love more then superheroes it has to be superhero team ups. Because of this shows like Power Rangers, Fantastic Four, Justice League (And Justice League Unlimited), Teen Titans, Legends of Tomorrow and the crossovers happening between the DC CW shows have become timeless favorites of mine. There's something about a diverse cast full of people with different powers and personalities that really gets me sucked in. Even more exciting are seeing your favorite heroes team up on the big screen. The live action Avengers movie released back in 2012 was a dream come true for me but also sparked another dream... A dream that one day there would be a DC Comics Justice League live action movie.

You see I've been a big fan of both Marvel and DC with it being pretty hard to decide a favorite between those two. My dreams seem to be coming into fruition because finally the live action Justice League movie is on its way, this year! Yes DC comics now has its own Cinematic Universe happening starting off with the 2011 release of Man of Steel and last year's Batman Vs Superman. (People aren't too pleased with this movie but I've yet to see it so I don't have an opinion on it.) A couple of weeks ago I discussed the upcoming Wonder Woman movie and that movie will be releasing before Justice League. I feel they could of done a few more solo movies before Justice League such as a Batman movie or a Flash movie but I think Batman Vs Superman should be enough to not make a Justice League seem like a jump. The initial lineup for the Justice League heroes are Batman, Superman, The Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg, which is the same number of heroes as The Avenger's initial lineup. I was hoping they would get a Green Lantern such as Hal Jordan in the lineup but I guess we have to wait until 2020 for the Green Lantern Corps movie. I think I've rambled on enough about my hopes lets get right into the brand new Justice League movie trailer!

That was actually pretty damn awesome. I did not recognize the man in the coat as being Bruce Wayne/Batman at first. We get to see a little bit of every initial Justice League member, first off being Aquaman who definitely is already ten times cooler then the kind of silly 1960s Aquaman. Actually he seems very similar to the Justice League Unlimited version. (Kinda wish his outfit had more of the original color though.)

Cyborg makes an appearance too! Victor Stone aka Cyborg is one of my most anticipated heroes in his movie. My run in with the half human half Cyborg man was in the Teen Titans cartoon series (Not Teen Titans GO mind you.) so hey if you wanna say Booyah at least once Ray Fisher I wouldn't mind. It seems like Batman and Wonder Woman are the ones heading the Justice League initiative and they recruit Barry Allen aka The Flash in as well. I wasn't so sure about Ezra Miller but he seems just as good as Barry Allen as Grant Gustin and to be honest? The suit is pretty awesome. Sounds like they're using the plot point of Barry's dad being in jail as well so perhaps Reverse Flash will be involved? Probably not until the standalone Flash movie but we may see some glimpses of him. Loved that little conversation between Barry and Bruce, always knew Bruce's super power was being rich.
Seems this movie involves Parademons from the planet Apokolips (What better way to get the Justice League together?) and these things called Mother Boxes. What these Mother Boxes, which were invented on Apokolips, are doing on earth I'm not sure but it seems like they're being targeted by someone from Apokolips. At first I was thinking of the obvious Darkseid but perhaps it’s someone else…
Justice League is definitely looking to be the DC team up I've wanted on the big screen for years now. Though I have to say... where is Superman? I probably should watch Batman VS Superman before I dive into that, it seems like something went down in that movie. No spoiling me okay? Justice League releases this November and it can't come soon enough! Well I mean we have Wonder Woman to hold us off until then.

From the Batcave comes a really cool knitting pattern... The Batman Hat by Ann Donovan.
Have a younger brother or sister or even some kids who love Batman? Then this would be an awesome present for them. It was designed for Anna's son who had a youth small head but from the pattern it looks easy enough to increase the size by increments of 4 stitches.
This pattern is similar to that PussyHat project in the sense of the ears but this was designed over 6 years beforehand. Never attempted this kind of hat before but it looks fun to do. This pattern makes a change from the usual round beanies. The pattern doesn't just give you instructions it gives you little pictures which will help you understand the processes of making this hat a lot easier. The pattern itself doesn't tell you whether it's worsted yarn or not but looking at her Ravelry page Cascade 220 is a worsted yarn so you could use any worsted yarn. The needles used are also size 7 which is pretty much normal for a hat. Anyway this hat will make you or who you're knitting this for feel just like the Caped Crusader and seems like a fun knit in general so be sure to go check it out on Ravelry! Don't forget to check out Ann Donovan herself as well as her blog Portable Knitting!

Was going to leave this for another discussion but I'm so excited for this movie so I'm throwing it out here now. Remember Batman: The Animated Series? Yeah that show was the best and had an animation art style that has become a lifetime favorite of mine. Well get ready to feel super nostalgic because we're about to see the return of not just the art style but the same characters from that show! Yes the brand new animated movie coming out called Batman and Harley Quinn is taking us back to the DC Animated Universe! There's not much revealed at the moment other then the fact that Batman is voiced by Kevin Conroy (Because who else would voice him? He's the best pick.) Nightwing is voiced by the man who brought Robin (Dick Grayson) to life on the show, Loren Lester and Harley Quinn is apparently being voiced by Melissa Rauch from Big Bang Theory (I've never really watched that show.). This movie is coming out later this summer so I'll be sure to keep you guys updated on any new information.

That's a wrap folks!
